Super Moon?

They have been saying that last night’s super moon was supposed to be bigger than normal. So, armed with my trusty camera, I ventured outside to take a few photographs, only to be disappointed. The moon, as a friend of mine noted, didn’t appear any bigger than it had been.

Life or Death?

Here’s something I’ve been meaning to be post for a few days. Please bare in mind that I do not post what I think. I merely post the facts of what I have witnessed and experienced as my role as a disability nurse. What you conclude from this is entirely up to you but I hope that you will at least respect the experiences of both the health care worker and the clients we care for.

The Problem With Facebook

Facebook has become a revolution in social media networking. Just about every man and his dog is on it. Yes, it can be great for keeping in contact with long lost family and friends. However, in recent days, I’ve noticed something quite annoying with it.

Do Unto Others

I was somewhat disappointed (although not entirely surprised) by my mother’s view on insects this morning.  She seems to be of the view that all insects were pests. Now, I’m not an expert on insects and I don’t claim to be one either. However, her statement concerned me. While I agree that some insects can be classified as pests, I certainly don’t agree that all of them are.

Creatures of the Night

For the first time since starting my blogs, I’ve decided to put together an online exhibition entitled “Creatures of the Night“. While the photos in this exhibition weren’t strictly taken at night, they have been manipulated to give them that impression. In fact, all of the photos were taken during the day.
